Donna D. Van Dam, APN, CNM

Donna Van Dam has guided several generations of NWH families to health and well-being. As an advanced practice nurse and certified nurse-midwife, Donna Van Dam sees patients of all ages for routine gynecological visits and prenatal care. She specializes in a range of women’s health issues; from breastfeeding and healthy pregnancies to contraception, vaginitis, and menopause. Her goal is to provide compassionate and quality care in an atmosphere of trust. Donna devotes time to listening to patients and answering their questions, placing them at the center of the decision-making process.

Donna Van Dam holds a Bachelor of Science, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, and a Master of Science in Nursing and Midwifery, University of Illinois, Chicago. With extensive experience as a labor and delivery nurse at Ball Memorial Hospital and Lutheran General Hospital, Donna pursued midwifery and worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Cook County Hospital, Chicago. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
